Daily Dip 4 Dave began as one woman entering the sea, every day, for the man she loves. That repeated act became a public voice: for Dave, for people living with Neuroendocrine Cancer, for earlier diagnosis, and for the determination to keep going when certainty isn't possible.

01What, why, how

What it is

A daily sea-swim challenge that grew into a registered charity: Daily Dip 4 Dave supports people living with Neuroendocrine Cancer through awareness, community, and funding for research.

Why it exists

Neuroendocrine Cancer is often diagnosed late because its symptoms mimic ordinary conditions. This charity exists to shorten that wait, for Dave, and for everyone still waiting on an answer.

How it works

One thousand consecutive days of cold water built a community willing to show up too. That community now fundraises, shares real stories, and gathers every year on National Daily Dip 4 Dave Day.

The arc

A promise became a challenge.

The challenge became a movement.

The movement became a charity.

It started on 10 October 2023 with a single promise: get in the sea, every day, for Dave. By 5 July 2026, that promise had become 1,000 consecutive days, and a community of people across the country choosing to get cold, on purpose, for someone they love.
